If you’re looking for a fun Sunday brunch spot, do yourself a favor and check out Nelson’s Green Brier restaurant. Located inside the distillery, this open concept dining experience is like no other in the city.
I try to check out a new place every time I hit the city and I’m glad my friends and I decided on this gem. They have limited hours but take reservations so if you have the random afternoon open or a Sunday morning free, check this place out. They serve brunch on Sundays only from 10-3 and I was very happy with the entire experience.
My friend and I shared their cinnamon pecan monkey bread (need I say more?) and sipped on their coffee and bourbon cocktails before our distiller’s breakfast rolled out.
The service is wonderful, food is delicious, cocktails are experimental for a distillery (which I love!) and the price is great. If you want an elevated dining experience with amazing southern cooking and strong drinks, this is your spot!
Spent my birthday here and they made it so incredibly special. The drinks were delicious and the food matched it. The devil eggs, charcuterie board, and egg salad sandwich were divine. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend going here. The staff was so sweet and polite and they made it a birthday meal to remember!
We’ve been coming here since they first opened, when it was just a tour of the distillery and a tasting in a small bar. To see how it has grown is amazing! We’ve done the tour, shopped in the store, attended a class with Rachel, and eaten at the restaurant a few times (our server has been Kristen and she is fantastic!). We went for a New Years Brunch and had the burger and Dutch baby and of course…drinks! They had an awesome band and the manager did a toast at 1:24, a toast to the new year. It was more than food, it was an experience! Mike is a wonderful host and manager, you can tell he has put together a great team. This is more than food and whiskey…it’s family :)
Started with brunch. The food here is outstanding. Then on to the tour. Our guide Zach had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about the history of the company and distilling process. Ended the tour in the tasting room. Purchased two bottles of Louisa's Liqueur to bring home. Highly recommend.
First night in Tennessee randomly buy this whiskey in a liquor store as to be honest I liked the label. First drink and I was instantly hooked then by chance parked outside the distillery to visit the American pickers store so definitely needed to book a tour and was so glad we did. Our guide was great full of information and I bombarded her with questions as I found the whole process extremely interesting. The tasting session was great which naturally led me to the gift shop for some more of this amazing product to take home to England ! 100 percent recommended this tour
Had a very good time here. Darrin gave us a fabulous tour. It was obvious he has a ton of knowledge of Whiskey and the distillery history and operation. Learned some Whiskey tasting skills that we had no idea of. It was very interesting. Highly recommend visiting here. Side note: we wanted to buy some Whiskey but would have had to carry it on plane back home, but, of course, we'd never get through security. Was told by staff we could purchase their Whiskey at the airport on the air side of security. Found a store that had a bunch of varieties of their Whiskey. Prices were a bit higher than the distillery, but I was happy to be able to purchase 3 bottles to carry home on plane. Happy drinking everyone!
Brandon was a great server! Made some great suggestions on drinks and food. I am not a whiskey drinker, but the old fashion that Brandon recommended was awesome....so was the catfish po boy. I liked the rye the best when we tasted our flight. The pomegranate punch was tasty too.
Darrin was absolutely phenomenal on our tour and tasting here! The history is very rich at this distillery, and the spirits were delicious! We also got to meet Spencer, and he was awesome. 10/10 would absolutely recommend touring and tasting and eating here! We also had lunch here and the dishes were absolutely FABULOUS and very filling! 🤩 We can’t wait to be back!
